Strong rooms should be sealed in presence of observers

Election Commission has apprised office of the Chief Electoral Officer about sealing of strong rooms during Lok Sabha elections. The commission has said that candidates and their agents should be informed about presence of observer at the time of sealing of strong rooms. Presence of observer must be ensured at the time of sealing of strong rooms.

The commission has said that if more than one strong room exists on a premises then district election officers should fix serial number of strong rooms to be sealed through coordination.
