Felicitation and thanks giving programme at Vidisha

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj participated in a felicitation and thanks giving programme at Vidisha today. Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that government and society in tandem will write a new chapter of development in the state. Vidisha will emerge on Indian map as a more developed district. He said that society has important role to play in the campaigns being launched by the government. He said that objective of School Chalen Ham Abhiyan is to send children to schools regularly. He urged people to participate in it enthusiastically. He also urged people to cooperate in Paani Roko Abhiyan.
Newly elected MP from Vidisha and External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj expressed gratitude towards voters and said that she will live up to their trust breached. She said that targeted efforts are being made to ensure that India’s prestige is enhanced in the world. Smt. Swaraj said that Vidisha Parliamentary constituency will witness development with faster pace. She will keep in constant touch with constituency’s people.
Sagar MP Shri Laxminarayan Yadav and Vidisha’s newly elected MLA Shri Kalyan Singh also spoke on the occasion. Revenue Minister Shri Rampal Singh, MLAs Shri Suryaprakash Meena and Shri Veer Singh Pawar, people in large number and local representatives were also present on the occasion.
