was manufactured and dispatched for site from BHEL, Bhopal, after completion of testing. Present
on the occasion were Sh. Rupesh Telang, General Manager (TCB - Production, Commercial,
Maintenance & Feeders), Ms. Ann Christine, Project Manager, Hitachi Energy, Supervisors Sh.
Peter and Sh. Hakan, and all the department's officers and employees.
On this achievement, Sh. Telang congratulated the entire team for their hard work and dedication.
He commended the team for completing the upcoming units within the stipulated timeframe.
This transformer is the third of 26 converter transformers manufactured by BHEL. These
transformers are being manufactured for the prestigious 6000 MW, ±800 kV HVDC Khavda-
Nagpur Bipole Project, POWERGRID, which is a significant step towards meeting the contractual
delivery commitments under the Khavda-Nagpur HVDC Project.
