Income Tax Department appoints nodal officers

Income Tax Department has appointed sub-nodal officers to monitor suspected transactions and sources of income during 3-phase Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. Districts have also been placed under their charge. These officers will cooperate in enforcing model code of conduct as per directive of Election Commission.

Assistant Director Shri Avnish Tiwari (9406717853) has been appointed nodal officer for Indore, Barwani, Burhanpur, Khandwa and Khargone districts and Deputy Director Shri Anil Kumar (9406717601) for Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Katni, Sidhi, Singrauli, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Umaria and Shahdol districts. Nodal officers will report to district election officers regularly.
