State-level meeting regarding preparations on June 9
School Education Minister Shri Paras Jain to review

As per wish of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, School Chalen Ham Abhiyan is being conducted as a mass movement on a grand level. Now, this campaign will not be confined merely to admission of children in schools, but will also focus of quality of teaching in the state.
School Education Minister Shri Paras Chandra Jain has convened a state-level meeting to review campaign’s preparations at 11 am on June 9. Minister of State for School Education Shri Deepak Joshi, senior departmental officers and education officers of all divisions and districts will be present at the meeting at Narmada Bhavan here.
Campaign’s second phase will begin with Pravesh Utsav programme from June 16. Rajya Shiksha Kendra is making preparations to send funds to schools for providing free books, uniforms and cycles to students. Prabhat Pheri and other programmes will also be held to celebrate Pravesh Utsav. Special flag of School Chalen Ham Abhiyan will also be hoisted in every school on the day of Pravesh Utsav. For the first time, a special logo and flag have been prepared for the campaign this year.
For turning the campaign into a mass movement, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has written letters to MPs in the state, MLAs, Chairpersons of Zila and Janpad Panchayats and all other public representatives. Campaign’s first phase was held from April 29 to May 5 with door-to-door contact and updation of village/ward education register.
