Mumbai. The Department of Tourism, Madhya Pradesh participated in the 9th IIFTC held in Mumbai to woo filmmakers across the country to shoot at exotic locations in the state along with state and tourism boards of 20 other countries including the likes of Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi, Krakow, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Norway, Oman, Panama, Poland, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Yas Island. The state showcase AV presented by Madhya Pradesh was loved by producers from all over the country. The state’s presentation showcased its four important pillars i.e. – Wildlife, Heritage, Spirituality and Nature. Locations such as Bandhavgarh, Bhedaghat, Bhopal, Khajuraho, Jabalpur, Rewa, Panna, Panchmarhi, Pench, Bhimbetka, Indore, Sanchi, Chitrakoot, etc were highlighted and clippings of films shot in these locations were exhibited apart from regional and local events, food, accommodation, art, and crafts, etc. Commenting on the occasion Harshad Bhagwat, Promoter, IIFTC said “Madya Pradesh Tourism Department is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that filmmakers globally have the best of time shooting in the state. The state has one of the largest numbers of exotic locales for film, OTT and web series shoot.”
