Webcasting to be undertaken at 546 polling booths in second phase

Madhya Pradesh.

Webcasting will be undertaken at 546 polling booths of critical category out of 18 thousand 796 polling booths in 10 Parliamentary constituencies in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 17. Web cameras will keep watch over these critical polling booths and activities there will be visible on the polling day on the website of Chief Electoral Officerwww.ceomadhyapradesh.nic.in. The number of these critical polling booths in 19 districts is 6 thousand 42, which will be guarded by 2 thousand 845 jawans of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

Arrangement of 4 thousand 462 micro observers, 484 still cameras and 2 thousand 962 video cameras has been made for critical polling booths. In this way, total 6 thousand 42 critical polling booths will be under observation of micro observers, still cameras, videography teams and webcasting. Maximum 1260 critical polling booths are in Bhind district followed by 859 in Morena, 451 in Gwalior, 447 in Sagar, 394 in Bhopal, 297 in Vidisha, 279 in Rajgarh, 242 in Damoh, 240 in Sehore, 235 in Ashok Nagar, 218 in Chhatarpur, 212 in Datia, 187 in Tikamgarh, 160 in Panna, 158 in Shivpuri, 145 in Guna, 118 in Sheopur, 95 in Katni and 45 in Agar-Malwa. As many as CAPF jawans will be deployed in Morena, 512 in Chhatarpur, 459 in Shivpuri and 100 in Bhind.

Webcasting

Out of 546 polling booths, webcasting will be undertaken in 100 polling booths each in Morena and Bhopal, 73 in Damoh, 55 in Rajgarh, 31 in Bhind, 30 in Gwalior, 25 each in Vidisha and Sehore, 21 in Shivpuri, 20 in Guna, 16 in Ashok Nagar, 11 in Sagar, 10 each in Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur, 5 each in Panna and Katni, 4 in Datia, 3 in Agar-Malwa and 2 in Sheopur district.

Similarly, still cameras will be fitted in 159 critical polling booths in Morena, 158 in Shivpuri, 112 in Sagar, 20 in Vidisha, 5 in Tikamgarh and 30 in Bhopal. Maximum 1260 video cameras will keep a watch at polling booths in Bhind. Videography teams will be deployed at 500 polling booths in Morena, 118 in Sheopur, 140 in Vidisha, 100 in Tikamgarh, 200 in Bhopal, 240 in Sehore, 132 in Rajgarh, 12 in Agar-Malwa, 52 in Sagar, 50 in Ashok Nagar, 31 in Guna, 30 in Gwalior and 45 in Datia.
