Madhya Pradesh State Forest Development Mission will hold “Baans Bazaar” at Jabalpur from June 27 to 29 on bamboo-based development and entrepreneurship. It will be held at Mahakaushal Haat, Kaanch Ghar, Jabalpur with the cooperation of Panchayats & Rural Development, Commerce & Industries, Cottage and Gramodyog, Horticulture Development, Farmers Welfare & Agriculture Development departments.
At “Baans Bazaar” products of bamboo craftspersons of bamboo producing districts of Madhya Pradesh as well as craftspersons from other states will be exhibited and sold, exhibition of modern bamboo equipments will be organised, competition of designs of bamboo products will be held apart from music based on bamboo-made musical instruments, dances and cultural programmes. A painting competition for school children will also be held.
